- * HVAC blower fan is noisy. * "Service" light illuminates upon start-up. * Engine coolant is low in reservoir. * PCV system not working properly. May be able to use repair kit. * Coolant leak around water pump area. Need to remove intake manifold for proper diagnosis. * Lots of oil on bottom of engine from unknown oil leak/s.
- Technician verified customer concern. Hooked up computer scanner diagnostic equipment and performed system scan resulting in codes; P2310 – Cylinder 4 ignition coil control circuit. P164B – Oil pressure switch intermittent. P164D – Oil pressure switch for reduced pressure. P0234 – Boost pressure regulation. P0304 – Cylinder 4 misfire detected. P0300 – Random cylinder misfire detected. P0456 – Evap system small leak detected. Found engine oil low and very dark. Recommend add oil to proper level, clear codes, and test drive vehicle to see what codes return. Added one quart oil and test drove vehicle and engine code P0234 returned and turbo quit working. Engine sounds okay but has excessive negative crankcase pressure. Next step should be to diagnose turbo code.
